The Witcher 3: An easter egg discovered, 7 years after the release of the title – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Interest in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been revived since the release of the first two seasons of the Netflix series, The Witcher. Additionally, it is considered one of the greatest RPGs in video game history. As a result, many players are still playing the third installment of the adventures of Geralt de Riv.

On this point, an easter egg has just been discovered, seven years after the official release of the software. Indeed, the YouTuber xLetalis recently published a video on this subject: one of the characters of the DLC Blood & Wine resurfaces, after the realization of his quest. This is Vivienne de Tabris.

To contextualize the whole, know that the quest for Vivienne is to be found in the last extension of the title. You can meet her at Toussaint. She is struck with a curse transforming her into a bird. As a good Witcher, Geralt de Riv offers his services. Once the curse is lifted, Vivienne only has 7 years to live, as a human.

xLetalis discovered that by meditating for 7 years in the game, it was then possible to find Vivienne. And this, more precisely, in Yennefer’s room in Kaer Trolde (Skellige). Unfortunately, she succumbed and was found dead.

The developer and chief designer of quests at CD Projekt Red, Philipp Weber, has also confirmed this easter egg and secret, in a recent tweet. Moreover, it seems that there are still many others to discover because Philipp Weber declared to IGN: “ Everyone’s been hiding so many details over the last few months of development that players will probably still come up with something new someday. “.
