Not long ago, CD Projekt RED announced the release date of the next gen update of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and subsequently showcased the content of that patch via a REDstream. Since then, many comparison videos arrived on the Web and compare the different versions of the software.
Indeed, as you probably already know, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next gen update, bound for PS5, Xbox Series and PC, will bring visual improvements to soft (Ray Tracing, improved Screen Space Reflection, improved foliage and better textures, for example). These improvements are clearly visible thanks to the various comparison videos published on YouTube.
For example, in that of the Ultimate Gamerz channel, we can easily see the graphic improvements of the next gen version, particularly with regard to general lighting, contrasts, or even textures. Suffice to say that everything seems much cleaner, fluid and beautiful.
Recall that the next gen update of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will also introduce new soft content (Photo mode, character appearances, etc.), fixes as well as Some modifications (dynamic masking of the mini-map, alternative camera). Not to mention, the addition of Performance/Quality modes for consoles.
