- The song is titled “The Ride of the Witcher” and is a little reminiscent of “Toss a Coin to Your Witcher”.
- Polish band Percival Schuttenbach, who composed music for the video games, are co-writing the songs in Season 3.
On June 29, 2023, “The Witcher” season 3 will start streaming on Netflix. There are a variety of reasons to look forward to the new episodes, but I think we can all agree that Barde Rittersporn’s (Joey Batey) hits are a highlight each season. Now the first banger of the third season of “The Witcher” has been released!
Again sung by Joey Batey, “The Ride of the Witcher” can inspire us once again. At the beginning the song is a bit reminiscent of “Toss a Coin to your Witcher”, but especially towards the end the song really picks up again. The soundtrack for the third season was composed by Joseph Trapanese, who was also present in the second season. Of course he also co-wrote “The Ride of the Witcher”.
For Season 3 there was even special support from the Polish band Percival Schuttenbach. They have already written the hits of CD Projekt RED’s video games and will contribute to other songs in Netflix’s “The Witcher” season 3 in addition to “The Ride of the Witcher”.
