Fans of The Witcher have bid farewell to Henry Cavill in Season 3 which Netflix has released in full. And they are inconsolable.
It was through the back door that Henry Cavill left The Witcher. The actor will not put on his Geralt of Rivia costume again in season 4, the filming of which has been postponed to the start of next year.
Even though the announcement was made several months ago, fans are still inconsolable over his departure. And the posting of the last episode with the actor on July 27 put them definitively in PLS, as evidenced by these few tweets.

His departure also seems to be linked to a disagreement between him and the team of screenwriters, led by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. It must be said that season 2 of The Witcher had been strongly criticized by fans because it did not respect the work of Andrzej Sapkowski at all.
