“The Witcher” returns on Friday of this week. The second season of the popular Netflix series is in the starting blocks – and to get you in the mood, Netflix today released an exclusive clip from the second chapter of the Witcher series. Shown in it: sorceress Yennefer von Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra) and her former teacher Tissaia de Vries (MyAnna Buring).

In the video above, magician Tissaia thanks for Yennefer’s commitment during the battle of Sodden, which was victorious for the north. As a reminder: Yennefer turned the tide by (forbidden) fire magic at the end of season 1 of “The Witcher” in Sodden. The powerful sorceress decimated the legions of Nilfgaard.
The new episodes of “The Witcher” will show why exactly Tissaia made this request to Yennefer. Season 2 will be released on December 17, 2021 as usual at 9 a.m. on Netflix!
