The worst Disney film of all time according to spectators is him!

With an average rating of 2.04 out of 5 on AlloCiné, the feature film “The Farm Rebels” is the worst Disney of all time.

Among Disney animated films are those that the studio considers “classics”, a list of 62 films to date (the latest being Wish). And if among them, the best will not surprise many people, the worst is rather surprising, as is its rating.

Walt Disney Pictures

Because with an average rating of 2.04 out of 5 according to AlloCiné spectators, it is The Farm Rebels which, among the “classics”, is the worst of all Disney. Released in 2004, this film depicts the adventures of Maggie, a show cow that her owner cannot keep, and who takes refuge with Pearl.

The latter runs a farm that she can no longer financially maintain. When Sheriff Sam Brown comes to tell her that she will have to sell her animals to pay her debts, Maggie goes on a crusade to find the money that is missing from the woman who so generously welcomed her.

Despite the presence of Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), The Farm Rebels closes the cycle of 2D animation at Disney by disappointing expectations. On AlloCiné, Maximemaxf analyzes: “The main fault of this failure is without context the weak scenario of the film and its characters, on the sheet it promised a lot of delirium and gags à la Tex Avery but as for almost all of the characters are failed comic-relief which does not have nothing endearing.”

Walter Mouse agrees: “Not only is the film not at the same level as the other Disney films, but it’s not even fun, and the wacky side that was so promising is ultimately botched. I was disappointed even though I wasn’t expecting anything from it. That’s saying something! The film cost 110 million dollars (…), I wondered every second where they could have put such a budget into this animation!”

But the film still has defenders, like Elesa Everafter, who tempers: “I love this film, I find it interesting and hilarious. (…) The trio of cows who want to save their farm, it’s not often that you get to see that! (…) I recommend this film for all generations.”

Which camp are you in? Does The Farm Still deserve to be one of the worst Disney majors of all time? On your keyboards and your notes!
