Églantine Éméyé: the host supported by her eldest son during his mourning

Fortunately, Églantine Éméyé is not alone in this ordeal and can count on the support of his eldest son, Marco. “He and I are ‘survivors’. He supports me as I support him” she says. “He’s a damn strong boy. But sensitive too. I have a lot more time to devote to him. I tell him: “I only have you to cuddle, but if I’m too intrusive, you can send me packing.” We’re both still a little fragile… We need to find a balance in this life without Samy.” she then says.

Last August, at the date on which Samy should have celebrated his 18th birthdaythe host shared a moving message on Instagram.

You must have been 18 years old. I had imagined a beautiful party with the whole family, pretty colors, music, but with breaks so that you can bear it all. And chocolate to make you laugh out loud. I’ve been thinking about this birthday like no other for months. You will never be 18… It’s been five months since you left, I haven’t had time to prepare, I still don’t understand. How I miss you and how sad I am… I love you my Samy” she wrote.
