Narrative game from the French studio The Pixel Hunt, The Wreck is announced for March 14, 2023. As expected, the title will be available on PC via Steam and GOG, as well as on Nintendo Switch. But additional surprise, the developers have also announced that their game will also be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
The Wreck is like a 3D visual novel. Players will be able to follow Juno, portrayed here as a failed screenwriter, as she tries to come to terms with one of the most important days of her life. Indeed, at 36, nothing is going well for her, whether in her professional career or in her personal life. And while Juno thinks that her life no longer really has any meaning, she is told that her mother has just been admitted to the hospital, in a critical condition. In order not to completely collapse, Juno will have to relive elements of her past, in the hope of changing her future.
Players will thus be able to explore the most striking memories that make up the young woman’s past. Better understanding his past can help him cope while seeing the world with a new perspective. And why not, make peace with herself.
