Xiaomi formalizes the Book Air 13, its new laptop with an elegant look and a well-filled technical sheet.
The problem is that there is little chance of seeing the latter arrive in France.
Xiaomi Book Air 13: an elegant and muscular laptop
Earlier this week, the new Xiaomi Book Air 13 leaked online, hinting at a sleek laptop that could outshine Apple. It was during a dedicated event that took place a few hours ago that Xiaomi formalized its laptop, which has serious advantages to convince.
The Xiaomi Book Air 13 revolves around a 13-inch OLED screen (in 2,880 x 1,800 pixels) which is able to pivot backwards to free itself from the keyboard. The Book Air 13 will be available in two configurations, namely Intel Core i7-1250U and Intel Core i5-1230U
. In both cases, we will benefit from a total of 16 GB of DDR5, not to mention an SSD with a capacity of 512 GB.
This new model confirms its very elegant side with very thin edges and an aluminum frame which displays 1.2 kg on the scale, for 12 mm thick. On board, there is a 58.3 Wh battery, compatible with 65 W fast charging.
This computer powered by Windows 11 will be displayed in China from 4,999 yuan, or just under 700 euros. It remains to be seen now whether the latter will make it to us, which has never been the case so far for a Xiaomi computer.
