In the storylines of the “Fires of Love” in the United States, one of the members of the Winters family is about to return to Genoa City. This is Malcolm and it is his original interpreter Shemar Moore who will once again slip into the skin of the character.
A former resident of Genoa City is about to return home soon! According to the American site Deadline, Shemar Moore, who played for many years in the soap opera, will return to The Young and the Restless! The actor will thus slip again into the skin of Malcolm Winters.
Shemar Moore makes a comeback
The character last appeared on the show in 2019, at the funeral of her brother Neil, played by the late Kristoff St. John. In 2023, the protagonist will return to his family to reconnect with his biological daughter Lily (Christel Khalil) and his nephews Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic).
At present, we only know that Shemar Moore will be around for an episode, which will be broadcast on Monday, May 8 on the CBS channel in the United States. It is not known if the comeback of the actor will then spread over several parts of the cult soap opera.
As a reminder, the star landed in The Young and the Restless in 1994. He appeared in the credits of fiction until 2002. He then played the guests between 2004 and 2005, then briefly in 2014 and 2019 , SO. Between December 2009 and October 2011, the role of Malcolm was also recast and portrayed by Darius McCrary.
Returns in shambles…
The arrival of Malcolm in the intrigues is a nice gift for fans of fiction which celebrates its fiftieth anniversary this year (a new credits has been presented for the occasion). This is not the only one to make his return among the Newmans and the Abbotts.
Tricia Cast (Nina), Barbara Crampton (Leanna), Veronica Redd (Mamie), Michael Damian (Danny), Patty Weaver (Gina), Michael Graziadei (Daniel), Zach Tinker (Fen) or even Vail Bloom (Heather) are indeed recently returned to The Young and the Restless… Will other names be added to the list?
