The Young and the Restless: twenty years later, a great villain from the soap opera returns to torment Sharon!

In “The Young and the Restless” in the United States, a ghost from Sharon’s past returns to Genoa City… Indeed, a great villain from the series in the early 2000s will sow terror in town!

The danger hovers over Genoa City… In The Young and the Restless in the United States, a big villain from the cult American soap opera has just made his return to the intrigues: it is Cameron Kirsten, embodied by Linden Ashby! Remember, this one had put Sharon (Sharon Case) through hell twenty years ago…

Cameron Kirsten reunites with Sharon

In 2003, the latter had momentarily left town after kissing Victor (Eric Braeden, who revealed if his illness would interfere with filming) during a moment of bewilderment. Sharon then left for Denver to refocus on herself… There, she had unfortunately met Cameron who, at first glance, was absolutely charming.

In truth, the businessman had instantly fallen madly in love with Nick’s wife (Joshua Morrow) until he became obsessive! Cameron had then made Sharon drink and had slept with her while she was drunk… He had hit her and almost suffocated her with a pillow!

Luckily, Cameron had fallen asleep before committing the irreparable and Sharon had returned home. Later, the psychopath had unfortunately come to Genoa City to retrieve his prey… He had tormented Sharon for months since she had kept their relationship a secret.

Cameron had again tried to force Sharon to sleep with him! To get rid of him, she grabbed a bottle of champagne and hit him on the head… Convinced that she had killed him instantly, she hid his body. Except he wasn’t dead!

Cameron’s revenge

In the shadows, Cameron had “haunted” Sharon for a long time out of revenge to make her lose her mind. Eventually, the criminal’s misdeeds were exposed and he was sent to prison…until today. Because that’s it, Cameron has served his sentence and is now a free man!

Interviewed by TV Insider, Linden Ashby teased the future actions of her character… and that doesn’t bode well for Sharon! He stated : “Cameron doesn’t play little games. He tumbles to Genoa City pressing hard on the accelerator.”

I said to Josh Griffith [producteur délégué et chef des scénaristes de la série] that I don’t want Cameron to redeem himself. He knows what he wants. I think we are not going to disappoint you (…) This guy is not good.“French fans of The Young and the Restless will however have to be patient before discovering these episodes since a three-year broadcast gap exists between TF1 and the USA…
