“There’s no way I’m worried…”: for his son, Mathieu (L’amour est dans le pré) is ready to make any sacrifices

Since May 28, Mathieu (season 15 of Love is in the meadow) became the father of a little boy named Ezio, born thanks to surrogacy carried out in Colombia. On June 7, the bull breeder revealed that the journey to experience the joys of fatherhood does not end with the arrival of the little one in his life, quite the contrary. In the caption of an adorable video of him and his son, he explained that he had a “awareness” after having “had a rather complicated two days”.

The reason ? “In addition to [s]’take care of [s]we son”, he “is[t] faced with all administrative procedures, here in Colombia” and must “so move around a lot” with her newborn. At the same time, Mathieu “keep working, a lot”, even if it means exhausting yourself. It was one of his relatives who tried to warn him about his somewhat hectic lifestyle: “I received a message this evening from a friend, Caroline, […] which made me realize something. She said to me: ‘I don’t have any advice to give you about Ezio. On the other hand, know that when a mother has a child, she systematically takes maternity leave because you cannot work and, at the same time, take care of a young child.’ And I think she’s right.” Alexandre’s ex-husband faced the facts, he “don’t be a little[t] not do everything at the same time, it’s not possible” especially since he has “reached [s]the limits [au point de] wanting to cry all day.”

A newborn already very sensitive to emotions

Unfortunately, his son, who like all children is a real emotional sponge, “felt” the fragility of his dad and “cried a lot in turn.” “The only way to get him to stop crying was to put him skin to skin,” said Mathieu, who made a big decision for the well-being of his little one, and to stay on course with regard to this new fatherhood that he must manage: “There’s no way I’m making my son anxious. So I’m going to switch to minimum service, priority to Ezio. Thank you for all your messages I received for advice. I noticed that there were dozens of tips different for the same subjects, but it’s super interesting to read them.” A post which concluded with a little reminder full of kindness: “Love each other.”
