The presence of a potentially carcinogenic pesticide at a level exceeding vigilance thresholds. It’s about “Chlorothalonil metabolite R471811”, as revealed by the regional health agency (ARS) of Deux-Sèvres.

Contaminated bottled water: production stopped

“The quality vigilance threshold for a fungicide molecule, the metabolite R471811 of Chlorothalonil, was exceeded during sampling”, indicates the deputy director of the Deux-Sèvres delegation of this ARSas reported by our colleagues from Top Health. This is a fungicide whose use has been banned on French soil since 2020 in view of its carcinogenic potential. For its part, the distributor is responsive and reassuring by having stopped the production of bottled water in the sources concerned. After carrying out a series of analyzes on the site in question, the group of Musketeers affirms that the consumption of these bottled waters does not present a risk to the health of consumers.
