If we have already revealed to you the ranking of the professions which recruited the most in 2023 as well as those the best paid, the largest recruitment platform in the world, Indeed, was interested in the jobs which stand out from the rest on the French market in 2024.
A ranking established by analysis of data from the Indeed.fr platform integrating “the number of offers available for each job title, the growth rate of the share of these offers over all offers from one year to the next between January 1, 2020 and December 1, 2023 as well as the salary level jobs“. Health professions at the top of the ranking
This year, it is the health professions which obtain the golden palm of the most coveted professions in 2024. Alexandre Judes, economist within the Hiring Lab of Indeed explains this situation: “The pandemic and the aging of the population maintain the growth of health professions which appear in the ranking, alongside more traditional positions in the commercial sector in IT or accounting. In first position, we therefore find pharmacists with 2,018 offers per million on the site with more than 67% change compared to 2020 and a median salary of 48,092 euros per year followed by hearing aid specialists with a median salary of 49 856 euros per year and 1,994 offers for one million, an increase of 1,453% compared to 2020.
In third and fourth position, professions in the tertiary sector are highlighted with IT project managers with a median salary of 48,625 euros per year and accounting mission heads and their median salary of 43,369 euros. For the first, there are more than 951 offers per million on the site, which represents an increase of 27% compared to 2020, and 826 offers for the second, representing a 34% increase. In last position in the ranking, we find another profession in the health sector, and more particularly in mental health with psychiatrists and their very attractive median salary of 70,000 euros per year. A profession which represents 384 offers per million, i.e. 21% change compared to 2020.
