New revelations in the case that shook the town of Ferrières-en-Brie (Seine-et-Marne). The mother of the 10-year-old boy, found dead in a suitcase, was indictment this Sunday for intentional homicide on a minor under 15 years old. The Meaux public prosecutor decided to place her in custody given the various elements collected during the investigation.
The 33-year-old mother is accused of killing her own child on January 26. After the father reported them missing, law enforcement began multiple searches. It was only the next day at noon that they discovered the body of the little boy hidden in a suitcase on wheels which was in a garbage can in the town. According to information revealed by The Parisian, the autopsy revealed that the child had received several blows “carried by a bladed weapon”in the neck, thorax and stomach.

The mother evokes a “memory lapse”
The weapon used was a knife with a long blade of about fifteen centimeters. The police have it found stained with blood at the same time that they arrested the woman, who was hitherto untraceable, at her sister’s in Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne), report our colleagues.
Immediately taken into custody, the mother of the family was interviewed by investigators. She did not ask to be assisted by a lawyer, reveals BFM TV. During the interrogation, she said she did not remember anything, like a “blackout”. According to the investigations, the woman would suffer from deep psychological disorders. According to his relatives, “She is a woman who has not been well since the birth of her son but she had no psychological follow-up.” Le Parisien reveals for its part, according to the declarations of the prosecutor of Meaux, that she would have been sent to a psychiatrist during the first confinement.
