Always according to Capital, three regions have chosen to increase the cost of the registration certificate: Pays de la Loire, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Hauts-de-France. With an increase of 6.2% per tax horse, the first region mentioned is the one with the greatest increase. While some regions have hitherto been more generous with hybrid vehicles, they will now have to pass the checkout in Hauts-de-France, Pays de la Loire, New Aquitaine and Bourgogne Franche-Comt. Exempt from car registration taxes until now, owners of these vehicles will now have to pay to register them: up to 50% of the normal amount in the North and in New Aquitaine. By making the owners of hybrid vehicles pay, the Pays de la Loire region expects to recover around 13 million euros.
