As he revealed in a video on his channel, TeeP says the key to gaining the edge is changing which parts of the audio you prioritize in-game.
When a viewer pointed out that the streamer’s game sounded different than normal, Mr. Polchow revealed exactly what he does differently these days.
“I’m on Boost Low and changed my hit counters… I seem to notice more when people jump low or parachute and hit the ground. Not so much the sounds of footsteps, but when they drop down and hit the ground,” did he declare.
For the uninitiated, it refers to the Audio Mix setting in the Warzone menu which allows players to select which types of noises will be amplified through their headphones or speakers.
By amplifying low frequencies, the former champion feels like he’s getting more for his money when it comes to spotting incoming threats.
