A 14-year-old teenager was forgotten on a motorway service area by his parents on February 5 in the Gard.
The 14-year-old teenager will remember the area of Roquemaure, in the Gard, all his life. It is France Blue who tells this surprising story which took place on February 5th. Around 6:30 p.m., a family on their way to Montpellier a stop on therest area from the A9 to go to the toilet. But coming out of the little corner, the boy realizes that his parents’ car is gone. The latter took to the road without him without realizing that he was missing.
Bad luck: the young man has empty pockets, his phone having remained in the back seat of the family vehicle. He also realizes that he does not know his mother’s number, nor his father’s, from memory. Caught off guard, he heads inside the gas station to ask for help to one of the employees.
The parents turned around
The attendant then decides toalert the cops of the Orange motorway peloton who had the idea of go through social networks to reach parents of the poor wretch. They finally manage to get in touch with friends of the family who telephone the parents directly, to say the least with their heads in the air. all sheepish, the parents immediately turned around to retrieve their abandoned son.
On Facebook account, the gendarmerie of Vaucluse, quoted by RTLhas published a photo of the boy waiting for his parentsaccompanied by a happy ending message: “the family was reunited with great emotion, before resuming its journey under the relieved eye of the gendarmes”.
