This year marks the return of Thierry in Love is in the meadow. And this time, the winemaker made a very specific request to the production of the show.
It’s official Thierry will make his comeback in Love is in the meadow. Revealed to the general public in 2015, the winegrower had entertained the viewers a lot with his famous expression “rascal of fate”. Seven years after his first show, Thierry returns alongside host Karine Le Marchand and he intends not to reproduce the same errors as in the past because it has since evolved.
Indeed, during the press conference of Love is in the meadow, Thierry explained that he wanted to focus more on the personality of his suitors than on their physique. He will therefore make benevolence and honesty take precedence over the plastic beauty of the women he meets. It is also for this reason that the candidate of the dating show has made a request for the less special and above all new to the production.“I didn’t want to see the pictures because this time, I did not want to see with glare. Reading the letters and looking at the photos, I’ve been wrong twice in the past” did he declare.

Thierry was heartbroken after his first participation in Love is in the meadow
In 2015, Thierry was looking for a beautiful “blonde with blue eyes fan of leopard print”. He had fallen in love with a former model who responds to the sweet name of Annick. Unfortunately for him, the contender had put an end to their story fairly quickly. He then tried his luck with another of his suitors named Monique, who only considered him a friend.
It is therefore sad as stone that Thierry had surrendered to the balance sheet of Love is in the meadow. As he said himself to Karine Le Marchand, heartbroken, he struggled to recover from this disappointment in love. “It was wrong in my head. I lost 20 kilos. I chose badly, I chose in glare, but you should not look at that”. Today, the 65-year-old winemaker is doing much better and is even ready to find love again. One thing is certain, Thierry returns to the show with a whole new state of mind which, we hope, will be successful for him.
