The Swedish brand CAKE unveils Kibb, an electric quad intended… for agriculture.

The other particularity of Kibb is also its autonomous side. Explanations.

A Kibb electric quad at CAKE

At the very end of last year, the Swedish CAKE unveiled a very surprising little electric motorcycle, worthy of the illustrious MacGyver. Very recently, the firm presented a new machine, still 100% electric: the Kibb.

This is a small electric quad, imagined by a young designer (Fanny Jonsson), who is not intended to invest in the leisure vehicle market, but rather that of utilities. The other special feature of this CAKE Kibb is that it can be piloted by a human, but it can also perform various tasks autonomously.

A machine with a vocation…. agricultural

According to Cake, the Kibb electric quad is intended to be a tool of choice for agriculture and breeding. A real small electric “utility” therefore, capable of operating without a driver for certain tasks. Faithful to the DNA of the brand, Kibb is based on a modular structure, in order to allow it to accommodate numerous accessories, depending of course on the needs of its owner.

Like some electric vehicles, the battery built into this Kibb quad will obviously supply the motor, but can also supply/recharge other devices. So practical.

For now, this Kibb electric quad developed by CAKE is only a concept. The manufacturer nevertheless promises that the development will continue, and even invites those who wish to do so to come forward on the official website to closely follow the progress of this amazing project.

With Kibb, we are tackling the lack of sustainable transport options in agriculture “explains the brand. The commercialization of Kibb is not expected before (at least) the year 2025.
