The year of his death, the organizers of the Cannes Film Festival decided to put Agnès Varda in the spotlight by dedicating their official poster to him. Three years later, the filmmaker is still not forgotten, the proof with this new tribute paid by the event. As announced on the Cannes Film Festival website, the screening room of the Soixantième will now be renamed Agnès Varda. “Agnès Varda, passion, tenderness, playfulness.
