On BFMTV, Thursday July 7, 2022, Me Emmanuelle Franck, Cédric Jubillar’s lawyer, spoke of the confrontation between her client and Marco, his former co-detainee. She was very harsh towards the latter, whom she believes does not inspire confidence.
It is a confrontation that was highly anticipated. On May 14, 2022, Cedric Jubillar and his former cellmate, Marco, confronted in the offices of the examining magistrates. Marco had assured, a few months earlier, that the husband of the missing nurse would have confided to him that he had got rid of her body. For the lawyer of the main suspect in this disappearance, Me Emmanuelle Franck, this confrontation should never have happened. “By the time it is organized, we already know that everything this individual said has been verified. The confidences that Cédric Jubillar would have made to him have been verified in detail“, she launched on BFMTV, Thursday, July 7, 2022.
“We therefore find it difficult to understand what is the point of organizing it, especially when we see this character there, the famous Marco, of whom it is very difficult to imagine how justice can trust this type of character and this type of man“, continued the lawyer who seemed to be very angry. According to her, Marco would have simply manipulated justice. “He said : ‘If you let me out, I can take you to the body of Delphine Jubillar’. what the court has done“, accused Me Emmanuelle Franck.
For Cédric Jubillar’s lawyer, Marco’s release is troubling
According to her, the release of Marco is very disturbing since 10 days earlier, a judgment of the criminal court would have assured, in a writing, that this man should not be released because he was dangerous. “However, he makes these revelations there and comes out ten days after this decision, so it is extremely disturbing.”
Cédric Jubillar is presumed innocent of the charges against him.
