this cult character soon to return? It smells very good

The Star Wars saga is full of possibilities, but one of them tends to come up very often at the heart of fan discussions, to the point that an actor speaks openly about it

We know that Star Wars is a saga conducive to theories of all kinds. Among those that are the most successful, we find in particular the return of Mace Windu. Because yes, for many, the emeritus Jedi master would be alive and would have survived his duel against the awful Palpatine. Horribly injured during his fall, according to many, he then made the decision to withdraw and hide during the great purge. Very clearly, this possibility excites a certain number of people, including the actor himself.

A cult character returning to the Star Wars saga?

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Star Wars prequels, Samuel L. Jackson was interviewed by Empire magazine. One sentence in particular stands out from this interview: “He’s not dead”, at least that’s what the actor thinks when asked about the end of Mace Windu’s character. And to please everyone, he even expressed his wish to have his own series on Disney+. Besides the actor’s statement itself, which highlights how much the character means to Jackson, it’s a tantalizing prospect. Imagine a project in the style of Obi-Wan but centered on the very charismatic Mace Windu, perhaps with fights against Jedi hunters.

It’s funny because this is precisely the idea that the YouTube channel Sidemaul had, which created a real little artistic gem. The video lasts exactly 11 minutes 42 and offers full French dubbing of very good quality on the potential survival of Windu. Multifaceted, the creator Sidemaul himself voiced certain characters, such as the clone troopers, the Sith inquisitor or even Darth Vader himself. You can see the result below:

If there is a series, the question of the actor’s age will still arise. Even if the actor still appears physically young, he is still 75 years old and unless we use the famous digital rejuvenation techniques, it may be quite difficult to directly deal with the months following the duel with Palpatine. This nonetheless remains a project that many fans would like to be able to admire. A pretty epic spectacle. And then it would surely be the opportunity to meet Yoda, or maybe even Obi-wan…
