This cult GTA-like will soon be free on Steam to celebrate its 20th anniversary

Game to download for free and to keep “for life”, we take immediately of course. Especially when it comes to a decades-old cult GTA-like license, but beware, you’ll only have a few days to download it.
And happy birthday to Mafia who is blowing out her 20 candles! For the occasion, 2K and Hangar 13 have decided to give players a nice gift, offering them the chance to download the very first game in the GTA-like saga for free.

The first episode of the GTA-like trilogy among the mafiosos will therefore be made available to players for free download from September 1st until September 5th.. This is not a limited game time period, but rather a download that will be added “for life” to your Steam library. Attention, we are not talking about Mafia Definitive Edition, the high quality remake released last year, but about the original game, released 20 years ago.
A new episode in development
And since good news never comes alone, Hangar 13 has confirmed that they are working on a new episode of the series. After remakes and remasters, the development studio is preparing something new for us with a Mafia 4 that we hope will be of much better quality than the 3rd opuscertainly very solid when it comes to its scenario and its characters, but with perfectible gameplay and a buggy open world to the core.
Mafia 3 is the divisive game of the moment. We have finished it and here is finally our final verdict on this controversial title released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
