This cult scene from Grey's Anatomy celebrates 15 years

It was during 2005 that the series Grey's Anatomy came into our lives and invaded our little screens. It is the beginning of a long history and the birth of a series which is today considered cult. From the first season, Grey's Anatomy served scenes that have become essential and decisive in the construction of the series and its history. Among the most unforgettable, there is the creation of the love trio formed by Meredith, Dereck and Addison. Who has not yet in mind the arrival of Kate Walsh in the role of Addison, the wife of Doctor Mamour?

The tone is set from the start, Meredith discovers that the man she loves is, in reality, married. Addison then presents himself as being the latter's wife and says to Meredith, still a young intern: "I suppose it was you who slept with my husband?" Viewers are as shocked as Meredith when they hear the news. Actress Kate Walsh wanted to remember this scene which is the beginning of a long story. On her Twitter account, she posted the famous sequence, tagging Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey: "It is incredible that today marks the 15th anniversary of the day this little lady appeared on your screen to check who was sleeping with her husband."

Her colleague at the time and a lifelong friend, Ellen Pompeo, reacted to this publication with great gentleness, humor and nostalgia: "Thank goodness I screwed up your wedding! It worked well for both of us. I love you so much and this scene… When your character arrived, it really was a defining moment for the series. From that moment , we hooked the viewers! " she explains on the social network. Indeed, this scene was the main key in the history of the series for a long time and the fans loved to remember this sequence with the two actresses.
