fun, news, tips… what else?

Parents have taken note of the holidays and student bridges for this school year 2022-2023. However, one of the areas is deprived of two bridges.

It’s a bad pill. While the 2022-2023 school calendar was published in the official journal last July, voices are raised against holidays and bridges. Established by the National Education, this calendar, which dictates the lives of 12.5 million young French people, pose a problem. Indeed, if this area is the only one to be favored for holidays and long weekends, the others had the bad surprise to discover that they were going to alternate at a grueling pace between holiday and school periods.

While zone B, which includes the academies of Strasbourg, Nancy-Metz, Reims, Lille, Amiens, Rouen, Caen, Rennes, Nantes, Orléans-Tours, Nice and Aix-Marseille, is the least well off, zone C (Créteil, Paris, Versailles, Toulouse, Montpellier) will also be deprived of two bridges. With December 25 and January 1 falling on a Sunday, impossible to recover a bridge. We’ll have to get used to it.

Less holidays and bridges for zone C and a steady pace

On the other hand, all pupils in France will have the right to a bridge, that of Ascension, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 18 through Sunday, May 21. The only one of the year and therefore the most anticipated. In detail of the schedule:

As parents of students, it will be necessary watch your days of vacation and bridges and draw your days off first to go away for a few days with your family.
