You don’t have much time left to enjoy Disney+ services at a low price. The back-to-school offer for the SVoD service, which allows you to obtain a 20% discount for three months, ends on September 20.
If the SVoD offer has particularly expanded in recent years, Disney+ undoubtedly remains one of the essential platforms for all fans of films and series. The reason ? The richness of its catalog which brings together everything related to the Disney universes (at the risk of surprising you), Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and even National Geographic.
Thousands of hours of content to devour alone or with the family, now available at a reduced price for a limited time. For the start of the school year, Disney+ has in fact decided to lower the price of its monthly subscription by two euros for the next three months. You therefore have until September 20 to benefit from the Disney+ catalog at 6.99 euros instead of 8.99 euros.
What are we watching on Disney+ right now?
This is an excellent question! A discounted subscription is good, but if you don’t have anything to watch, what’s the point… Fortunately, the Disney+ catalog is full of content to watch binger without restraint, with some nice new products arriving by the end of 2023.
In October, the second season of Loki. Tom Hiddleston is back in the role of the god of deception to explore the twists and turns of the multiverse, timelines alternatives and learn more about the Anachronistic Variations Tribunal. A handful of episodes eagerly awaited by Marvel fans (and others), scheduled to be broadcast from October 6.
December 20 is the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians who makes his entrance. This first season serves as reboot and focuses on the first adventure of Percy Jackson, accused by Zeus of having stolen his lightning.
If we do not yet have the detailed schedule of arrivals between now and the end of the year, you will already be able to find out in September.
- Series : Justified City Primeval (the new season/reboot of Justified), Black Girl (adapted from the novel of the same name by Zakiya Delila Harris), the animated Eden17 based on the work of Osamu Tezuka or the science fiction thriller Hunted;
- original French productions: the month of September welcomes the series Irresistible a romantic comedy in six episodes carried by Camelia Jordana and Théo Navarro-Mussy;
- movies : with our happy days the Toledano-Nakache duo;
- documentaries : the month of September gives pride of place to historical adventure with Atlantis, The Lost City by James Cameron, The Tomb of the First Emperor of Chinaor In search of the tomb of Alexander the Great .
Fans will also be delighted to learn that Disney+ is preparing to host season 4 of Kardashians next September 28. An exclusivity that will not leave you indifferent. And if you’re not convinced by the September additions, you can always fall back on the platform’s incredible catalog. A catalog that brings together “just” films and series from the Disney, Marvel and Star Wars universes, as well as a myriad of National Geographic documentaries.
Dardevil Born Again, X-MEN ’97, Andor Season 2, Moana: ask for the 2024 schedule
If you were not yet convinced by the richness of the streaming offering offered by Disney, the coming months should make you change your mind. As long as you have a few chemistry with Marvel or Star Wars and their teeming universes, you will be served.
- Star Wars side: After Ashokaa few weeks ago, Disney+ continues to enrich the Star Wars extended universe. 2024 should see the arrival of a new series, The Acolyte the third season of the animated series The Bad Batch and above all, the second season ofAndorin the month of August ;
- Marvel side: Disney+ should welcome a whopping six series over 2024 and 2025. Renowned faces will be in the spotlight, with a focus on Agatha Harkness (Wandavision), like the new kids with notably Ironheart . We will also remember the return of Charlie Cox in the role of Dardevil for an adaptation of the arc Born Again(by Frank Miller) or X-Men ’97, an animated series which takes the style of the cartoons of the 90s;
- at Disney: two new Disney-branded series should directly join the platform’s catalog. On the one hand, Moana, a direct sequel to the film of the same name, with a little twist, since it is a musical series. On the other side, Tianaa sequel to the film The princess and the Frog.
The new features, however, are not limited to the usual universes grouped under the leadership of Disney. Numerous films and documentaries, as well as multiple original creations, should also join the ranks of Disney+ and Stars. Some Alien: Romulusa new film in the franchise, should be added to the catalog in the coming year, even if we do not currently have a firm release date.
3 months at a reduced price: discover the Disney+ back-to-school offer
As usual, Disney+ is taking advantage of the month of September to launch its back-to-school offer. This year, the platform has nevertheless decided to innovate, and to abandon its usual two-euro “discovery” month. Instead, Disney+ invites you to take advantage of a reduced rate for three months. A reduction of two euros which will allow you to discover all of the platform’s services at 6.99 euros per month instead of 8.99 euros. Be careful, however, because at the end of these three months, the subscription will automatically switch to the Premium plan billed at 11.99 euros.
Rare enough to note, this offer is valid for new customers as well as long-time subscribers, without conditions. Finally, note that you can also subscribe to Disney+ services for the year, and benefit from a discount equivalent to two months of subscription. By choosing the annual subscription, you will only pay 89.90 euros, the equivalent of 10 months.
