fun, news, tips… what else?

On Wednesday August 31, the Miss France committee announced in a press release the departure of its general manager, Sylvie Tellier. The former beauty queen had masterfully managed the organization, in particular by accompanying a miss who had had her scarf and crown stolen.

Earthquake in the large Miss France family. In an exclusive interview with TVMagazine this Tuesday, August 30, Sylvie Tellier has announced that she is leaving her position as general manager of Miss France. “It’s a big life change for me after seventeen years of commitment to the competition. But it’s not my company, and I wanted to give a new direction to my career”she said, before specifying that she was still going accompany the teams for a few months : “Now, Alexia Laroche-Joubert alone assumes the functions of president and general manager of the Miss France company and has chosen Cindy Fabre to help her. She offered me to keep an advisory role by their side until December, which I accepted, because it was important for me to support our partners until the election.”

During her experience, the 44-year-old businesswoman had to go through many hardships while accompanying the Misses. And for good reason: the daily life of beauty queens is far from easy. Proof of this is the terrible misadventure that had happened to Marine Lorphelin, Miss France 2013. Indeed, the female doctor had been victim of a theft during a stay in a luxury hotel, in Paris, in 2016. While she had put her luggage aside while waiting for her room to be ready, Marine Lorphelin was very surprised when she picked them up. The reason ? The box in which her tiara and sash were stored was empty.. Very wise, the young woman from Mâcon had managed to keep her calm and her optimism. “Thank you for your comments following the loss of these very symbolic objects. And of course there are so many more serious things”she wrote on Twitter.
