Indeed, when David Laroche asks Hugo Philip what is the essential thing that he would like to pass on to his son, the latter answers: love, kindness and work.. “I love the notion of work, love and kindness. These are three notions that are fundamental to me,” explains Hugo Philip. Before adding: “Intuitively, if there is love, there will be work from the heart and you won’t even need to force it. And be kind in everything you do. I find that it’s a notion that has somewhat disappeared in our new generation.”
Hugo Philip considers that his parents’ generation showed much more kindness by helping each other and, above all, by pulling each other less. “Social media has done nothing but peddle a whole bunch of gratuitous nastiness,” he regrets.
