A completely crazy game, which will change your vision of Christmas, is coming very soon to PS5 and PS4. But on Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, the title was simply banned.
Normally, Christmas holidays are about celebrating, giving each other gifts and having a good time. An independent developer, however, has another vision, and this one does not please all manufacturers. Microsoft and Big N have just prevented the release at the last minute of an extremely crazy game. A software which will however be available on PS5 and PS4, and which is already accessible on PC (Steam, GOG).
A new 18+ game on PS5 and PS4… but not Xbox and Switch
If you are looking for the most secretive horror games on the market, you may have already seen the name Puppet Combo. An indie studio which has developed very bloody, violent and unhealthy titles such as Nun Massacre, Stay Out the House, Murder House and Christmas Massacre. A game where you take control of a Santa Claus and punish “all the people who have been naughty” on request from a talking tree. The violence, the unhealthy side or the Christmas theme twisted to make it a PS1-style slasher, were accepted by PlayStation. On Twitter, the studio is clear: “only PlayStation authorizes the release of the game” on PS5 and PS4. Why this categorical refusal from other manufacturers?
