A hard blow for some owners who were to benefit from Ma Prime Renov. Some were victims of hiccups in the device and had a shortfall of several thousand euros.
‘Ma Prime Rénov’ has been helping households for almost three years. However, it happens, although very rarely, the device to encounter some problems. The latter manhandle modest owners. Many testified to their misadventure with ‘Ma Prime Rénov’ with supporting evidence.
The owners say they have received the agreement of the National Housing Agency (Anah) to start their work before there is a withdrawal from them. Situations that embarrass owners since the loss of earnings amounts to thousands of euros. Two owners affected by the same problem testified about their experiences with ‘Ma Prime Rénov’.
The national housing agency authorizes then refuses the premium to the owners
Eric, a resident of Sarthe (72), explains that he installed an air-water heat pump in place of his oil-fired boiler, following the grant of aid from ‘Ma Prime Rénov’: “On September 14, 2021, I receive an agreement for an aid of 2440 euros. I start the necessary work and on January 10, the Anah informs me that a compliance check will be carried out“he told the Figaro. The aid will finally be refused to him five months later on the grounds that he would not have installed an air/water heat pump but a ‘dual flow ventilation’. This installation being much less expensive than that originally planned (7,650 euros against 13,000 euros), benefits from the same aid (from 0 euros for the wealthiest to 4,000 euros for the most modest). However, Eric denies having had a ‘dual flow ventilation’ installed as claimed by Anah: “The invoice from the company that carried out the work does not mention any double flow breakdown“, he says. He thus tried to obtain an explanation but did not have no response from Anah.
A similar case was declared in Mayenne (53). Peter, retired was to receive 3000 euros from the State
in order to finance insulation work on the exterior of his house. He explained to the site Actu.fr : “I had made the quotes, obtained the agreement to receive the bonus, last April. The work has been done“, did he declare. He then assured that a check was carried out once the site was completed and that “there was no problem“. Pierre later experienced the same problem as Eric, and never managed to get an answer from Anah. For this case, the Defender of Rights has been contacted and is in charge of studying the file. Some 500 declarations of owners have been filed in all with the Defender of Rights.
