And for good reason, suffering from two diseases autoimmunevitiligo and alopecia, the former Prime Minister has simply metamorphosed in the space of a few months. Land vitiligo is characterized by white spots on the skin (depigmentation), but also on the hair (this is called leukotrichia). alopecia, meanwhile, causes hair loss. Flagrant changes to the mayor of Le Havre, who was still very dark when he arrived at Matignon in 2017, and who appears today almost bald, hairless at the level of the eyebrows, with a white beard and graying hair. A non-event for the politician, as underlined by Gala, but which does not go unnoticed in the corridors of power. Edouard Philippe had already spoken on this subject in 2020 with Paris Matchstating:It’s a disease – a vitiligo – not serious, neither painful nor contagious“. In an interview this time given to Point, on January 12, 2023, the former right-hand man of Emmanuel Macron wanted to put things in their place and let it be known that he is doing very well and that his only objective is his professional future. “The eyebrows have fallen, they will not come back. Hair falls out, I’m not sure it will grow back, beard eventually falls out”, he first admitted. And to add:I am healthy, I am losing my hair.
