this very good surprise that awaits you

A decree published in the Official Journal at the beginning of April makes the allocation of college and high school scholarships automatic from the start of the school year in September.

Good news! From the start of the school year in September, national college and high school scholarships can be automatically paid to eligible families. Parents will no longer have to take any steps to benefit from it. A decree published on April 4 in the Official newspaper stipulates in fact that the natural person(s) who, within the meaning of the legislation on family benefits, assume effective and permanent responsibility for the student may consent to their scholarship rights being automatically examined each year with a view to the start of the school year in providing the necessary data, without any further action.

This new modality was created to complement existing approaches. Parents who wish can therefore continue to apply for the scholarship. via the paper form or via teleservice.

Strict eligibility conditions

The awarding of school scholarships is subject to certain resource conditions. To determine the amount you will be able to benefit from, the number of children in your care and the household resources are taken into account. Unless there is an exceptional change in circumstances (divorce, unemployment, serious illness, etc.), they will correspond, for the 2024-2025 school year, to the reference tax income mentioned on your 2023 tax notice.
