Among these moments of disconnection, Julia Vignali tells us that she is a sports fan and also takes pleasure in carrying out a beauty routine with pharmacy treatments. The host of Affaire Conclue also takes care of herself through food and reveals to us that she is a fan of a very specific diet: intermittent fasting.

Julia Vignali fan of intermittent fasting

I do intermittent fasting: I no longer eat in the morning, I eat my first meal at 1 p.m.” explains Julia Vignali to us. Very popular in recent years, intermittent fasting consists of consuming meals over a short period of time, to rest your digestive system. Followers of this practice generally eat between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. Although the health effects of this type of diet are still debated, some notice a boost in energy and comfort in digestion. At least that’s what the host observed: “I’m not doing it to lose weight, in terms of energy it’s incredible!”.

The only problem is that Julia Vignali has developed the bad habit of drink your coffee in the morning on an empty stomach : “according to my naturopath, you should only drink hot water in the morning on an empty stomach, when you do intermittent fasting, but with the days I have, I think it is not possible to maintain”. Indeed, drinking your first coffee in the morning on an empty stomach can have an impact on digestion, by slightly acidifying the stomach, but also on blood sugar by causing an insulin peak.
