This bug wouldn’t be so annoying if it were possible to remove the widget in question from the main screen. But the owners of Pixel smartphones simply cannot uninstall this app. Instead of the widget, they sometimes see a red rectangle indicating a cryptic message: “Failed to load. Enter adb logcat ». Faced with this conundrum, many victims have tried to update the Google application and reinstall the widget, with varying success. Google still hasn’t offered a solution to the malfunction of the Assistant Preview widget on Android smartphones.
