Famous Warzone streamer FaZe Booya recently wielded the Volk which was used during CDL Major 2 and quickly this weapon proved to be overpowered on Rebirth Island.
With the removal of Vanguard Royale, the meta has opened up wide and some weapons from Cold War and Modern Warfare have returned to the forefront.
And recently, streamer Booya made a new discovery thanks to a class used on Vanguard in the CDL.
During CDL Major 2, the Volk established itself as one of the best guns in the game to everyone’s surprise and so Booya decided to give it a shot in Warzone, and he clearly wasn’t disappointed with the result.
Booya has decided to bring back the Volk class used in CDL in Warzone.
The Volk class used in CDL is overpowered in Warzone
Unlike the CDL which restricts the use of certain accessories, in Warzone it is possible to equip everything and therefore Booya has changed some elements of the Vold class used in competition.

The only changes made by Booya from the CDL class are the Recoil Booster and Extended ammo.
He also added the Gorenko 7.62 40 Round Magazine as all magazines are banned in CDL.
And as this video proves, the Volk can be incredibly powerful in the Battle Royale environment. “It’s honestly not bad at all, it’s more of an SMG, AR hybrid and it’s really good up close“.
Booya believes that this weapon can be extremely viable when it comes to close-range combat and thus could have a place in the Rebirth Island meta.
