In popular holiday regions in particular, it can be quite difficult to find a free parking space during the peak travel season.
The booking portal camping.info offers practical apps for Android, iOS and the web, which you can use to find out with just a few clicks which campsite at your holiday destination is guaranteed to still have a parking space available.

To find out whether there is still guaranteed parking space available in your holiday region, first enter all the relevant data in the camping.info search. You will then see all the campsites on the map that are sure to have a pitch available during your travel period.
A new live availability system will also be launched, which will be rolled out step-by-step at campsites throughout Europe. According to camping.info, such a system offers advantages for both the operator and the holidaymaker. The campsite operators want to use an online system to optimize their occupancy rates, and such a portal offers the advantage for holidaymakers that they are immediately informed about the availability of pitches.
According to the developers, 23,000 campsites are stored in the app across Europe. In Germany alone there are almost 2,200. A map not only shows the exact locations of the pitches, but also lots of useful information about the campsite and the surrounding area. The maps can even be used offline.
If you prefer to use the search function, the app gives you selected filter criteria: suitable for dogs, place in the semi-shade, distance from the sea and much more. When choosing a place, users can also access more than 190,000 reviews, 220,000 photos and 3,200 videos from other users.
Practical: If you have found a suitable campsite with free space, you can do so directly via the online portal Reserve. You can also find more details about the campsites on the platform. In addition to a detailed evaluation, the equipment of the respective places is also described.
