On July 10, 2023, Julia Vignali revealed her intention to leave the show Telematin. The name of her replacement was quickly known as it was Marie Portolano. Since August 30, the host has been present alongside Thomas Sotto on a daily basis. A meeting which is eagerly awaited by viewers. In the columns of 7 Days TV This Monday, January 8, it was the main person concerned who made some confidences. She notably mentioned a particularly complicated constraint. “Thomas Sotto warned me: after the euphoria of the first weeks, it’s tough!”, she said. If everything seemed to be going well at the beginning, Marie Portolano confides that everyday life gets a little more difficult as the days go by. “Waking up stings more and more, and at the moment it’s dark and cold when we get up”, she declared afterwards.
The show Telematin starts at 6:30 a.m. and getting up early is not always easy. However, Marie Portolano says she is used to it since this is not the first time she has had to adapt her schedule. “I had already experienced the harsh conditions of the morning that I was on BeIN Sports but Télématin does not refuse!“, she admitted. A situation which is not always easy because Marie Portolano is a mother of two young children. But, once up and alongside Thomas Sotto, the host is happy to work in these conditions. “He’s someone who has no ego, which is very nice”she said before adding: “Concretely, if I ask him a question, without doing it on purpose, he won’t be angry with me. He is very sharing and it’s quite rare on TV for the shoe”. A complicity that pleases viewers.

For Marie Portolano, it was a new challenge but she took great pleasure in carrying it out. “I see that it’s an extremely enjoyable show to make”she assured, recalling however that co-presentation is not an easy exercise for her. “It combines everything I love: information, humor and humor… I am proud to belong to this house, France Télévisions, which I did not know”, concluded Marie Portolano.
