Thomson still has a name in the TV market. The license previously managed by TCL changes hands and is now operated by the Hungarian company Streamview, which is thus launching Thomson Renew in France. For now, the range includes classic LCD TVs and Qled and Qled Premium models, but the company is already thinking about future Mini-Led and Oled models while keeping the affordability aspect in mind. The philosophy of Thomson 2023 televisions is simple: ease of use, value for money and responsibility. On this last point, Thomson explains that its models are guaranteed for three years, against two regularly offered on the market, that they consume little and display a good repairability rating.
Simplified and unconnected HD2S13 and FD2S13 televisions
The 24HD2S13 and 32HD2S13 are satisfied with an HD Ready definition, while the 32FD2S13, 40FD2S13 and 43FD2S13 are in Full HD. These models are no frills, have three HDMI 1.4 inputs, two USB ports and a dual DTT tuner allowing you to record a program on a USB device while watching another channel.
These TVs are not connected, so there is no risk of handling error when launching an application, for example. Thomson goes even further by offering a simplified remote control, currently in production, which allows you to quickly find your favorite or live channels, for example. Good point, the supplied remote control has backlit keys, which is the case for all Thomson models this year.
The Thomson 24HD2S13 and 32HD2S13 are priced at €170 and €190 respectively, while the Full HD 32FD2S13, 40FD2S13 and 43FD2S13 versions are priced at €230, 250 and 280 respectively.
HA2S13 and FA2S13 HD or Full HD televisions running Android TV
With the same base, the Thomson 24HA2S13 and 32HA2S13 in HD Ready and Thomson 32FA2S13, 40FA2S13 and 43FA2S13 have an ARM Quad-Core processor and Android TV with the Chromecast function, as well as a remote control with integrated microphone for voice searches. They retain the three HDMI 1.4 inputs and the two USB ports, but also benefit from wifi and Bluetooth.
Count €190 for the 24-inch Thomson 24HA2S13 and €200 for the 32HA2S13. The Full HD Thomson 32FA2S13, 40FA2S13 and 43FA2S13 versions are respectively displayed at 250, 270 and 300 €.

QA2S13 televisions: LCD Qled Ultra HD a little brighter
The QA2S13 series uses a Qled LCD panel with quantum dot filters, which provides slightly wider color coverage and probably slightly higher peak brightness. The rest is identical to the previous model, including the backlit remote control.
The Thomson 43QA2S13, 50QA2S13, 55QA2S13, 65QA2S13, 75QA2S13 and 85QA2S13 televisions are sold respectively for 400, 450, 500, 650, 1100 and 2000 €.
QA7S13 and QA7C13 televisions: Qled Ultra HD LCD with a more efficient audio system
These slightly more premium models have a soundbar delivering 20 W, still compatible with Dolby Atmos technology. The panel remains HDR10 and Dolby Vision compatible. The difference is also made on the slightly more qualitative finishes on this model. QA7S13 televisions have two metal feet on each side, while the QA7C13 reference opts for a central foot.
The Thomson 43QA7S13, 50QAS13, 55QA7S13, 65QA7C13 and 75QA7C13 will be marketed in July 2023 at respective prices of 480, 530, 580, 800 and 1200 €.
