Thomson has just presented its new range of 2024 televisions. The European brand, specialized in the design of electronic products, even has an OLED model in its bag.
This week, Thomson lifted the veil on several new televisions. Keen to meet as many needs as possible, the brand has revealed HD, Full HD and 4K UHD models, with sizes ranging from 24 (60 cm) to 85 inches (215 cm). These new ranges of Google TV televisions, based on Andoid 12, intend to provide users with the ideal experience by combining design, innovation and ease of use.
4K TV: Thomson unveils the Qled PLUS and Qled Pro ranges
To start things off, Thomson has unveiled the Qled PLUS series (xxQG6C14). Presented as “ the most versatile TV “, this tends to respond to ” all daily needs “. Equipped with a QLED UHD 4K screen, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, front speakers and a pivoting central stand, this model is divided into no less than three sizes: 43, 50 and 55 inches. Prices start from 549 euros and extend up to 649 euros, depending on the format chosen.
For those wishing to switch to a higher range, Thomson has also lifted the veil on the Google TV Qled PRO series (xxQG7C14) whose sizes range from 43 to 75 inches. These televisions benefit from, more or less, the same characteristics as the Qled Plus range, with the difference that here you can benefit from an image frequency of 144 Hz. You will nevertheless have to pay between 599 and 1,199 euros to hope get your hands on it.
For a more realistic contrast, note that all the 4K televisions newly announced by Thomson are Dolby Vision compatible and benefit from the HDR 10 standard.
OLED is also in the spotlight at Thomson
If QLED technology, which offers more brightness and a wider color palette, is strongly in the spotlight at Thomson, the brand also presented a 4K television model incorporating an OLED panel. Unlike QLED, this display technology is generally appreciated for its deep blacks and high contrast colors.
So you will have the choice between many screen sizes (42, 48, 55, 65 and 77 inches), depending on your needs and the space you have at home. For the moment, no price has yet been communicated for this smart television soberly called Google TV Oled (xxOG8C14).
If you are looking for a television whose price is less than 500 euros, and 4K is not a priority for you, know that Thomson has presented HD and Full HD TVs with prices ranging from 189 euros at 299 euros (24, 32 and 40 inches). The Google TV UHD range (xxUG5C14) promises a 4K experience for prices ranging from 399 euros to 999 euros (43, 50, 55, 65 and 75 inches).
