Thousands of Palestinian workers sent back to Gaza

GAZA, Nov 3 (Reuters) – Thousands of Palestinians from Gaza working in Israel or the West Bank were sent back to the besieged enclave on Friday, witnesses said.

Some of these workers returned to the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom crossing east of Rafah, a border post between the Palestinian territory and Egypt, witnesses said.

Israel has subjected the Gaza Strip to an intense campaign of aerial bombardments accompanied by ground incursions since the deadly attack by Palestinian Hamas on its soil on October 7.
