2024 - threat confirmed for 1 million new beneficiaries

Twenty consumer associations, housing assistance associations and employee unions denounce this Wednesday, April 10, the lack of sufficient response from the government to the 1 million new beneficiaries of the energy check who risk being forgotten this year. These organizations are calling for clear communication and a simple procedure for the future forgotten complaints desk.

Associations want clear communication and a simple procedure

The twenty associations denounce that the government communication on the 2024 energy check ignores the fact that a majority of low-income households who should benefit from the energy check will be forced to go through this system, due to an incredible failure of the administration. However, the task awaiting Bercy is immense after automatic distribution to the 5.6 million households who already reached it last year, in the month of April. By summer, Bercy must put in place a window that the associations hope will match the challenge: The online platform will actually have to record the requests of this million potential beneficiaries that the tax services cannot identify, as well as all the beneficiaries of the 2023 campaign whose resources may have decreased since 2022.
