The last generation demonstrated on Friday because of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s visit to the Chancellor. The people of the last generation stood directly in front of the Federal Chancellery with banners and vests so that the international meeting between Blinken, Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Foreign Minister Schallenberg would not go uncommented. “The USA and Europe, as the main drivers of the climate crisis, must live up to their responsibility. Nothing less than the future of our civilization is at stake here.” The police were also on site. The climate activists criticized both the USA and Austria, saying they “are failing in climate policy.”
