Anti-Semitic mob: Kadyrov gives the order to shoot

In Dagestan, a mob storms the airport and attacks Jewish passengers. Ruler Kadyrov does not tolerate such unrest in Chechnya and issues an order to shoot against unruly people. First, police officers should fire warning shots.

After anti-Semitic riots in southern Russia, Chechen ruler Ramzan Kadyrov gave the police in his republic an order to shoot against unruly demonstrators. Anyone who takes part in unrest will be arrested and imprisoned, Kadyrov said at a meeting of the regional government in Grozny, according to the state news agency Ria Novosti.

If anyone resists, officers should fire three warning shots. “After that, if the person still breaks the law, fire the fourth shot to the head! He won’t do it again. That’s my order,” Kadyrov said. In Dagestan, the neighboring republic of Chechnya, a crowd stormed the Makhachkala airport on Sunday and hunted down Jewish passengers on a flight from Tel Aviv.

There were more than 20 injured; 83 people were arrested. Such riots were stopped in Chechnya, said Kadyrov. Like other Russian politicians, he accused the West of inciting anti-Semitic attacks. “One cannot assist Russia’s enemies and shake up the situation at home,” Kadyrov said.
