Tiger Woods is back on the golf course! Nine months after his car accident, the golf star reports from the tee via a video snippet.

It’s been a good nine months since golf star Tiger Woods (45) was involved in a serious car accident. As a result, he had to have an operation on his right leg. The American has been working on a comeback since mid-February. A video he posted on social media shows that he’s making progress.

Woods, who presented himself on crutches to his fans on social media in April, had already made remarkable progress by October, reports the US magazine “People”. Now the five-time Masters winner is posting three second long video on Instagramshowing him teeing off on the golf course. It is the first footage since his accident that shows the exceptional athlete in action. He subtitled the video with the comment “make progress”.

On the way to recovery, the role of being a father helped him, his children Charlie (12) and Sam (14) are his motivation, explained a source to “People”. When the return of Woods on the professional tour can be expected remains open. “He says even if he’s not at 100 percent, he knows the importance of getting out and having competitions. That’s his goal,” the source continued.
