Fortnite update 19.10 released this Tuesday. This is the mid-season update and as usual, Epic Games has reserved a larger update for us than a classic update. On the program, we find Tilted Towers, the iconic city of the game, back in the Battle Royale, the arrival of new creatures, the Klombos, but also the return grenade launcher in a modified version. Several minor fixes have also been made.
First, let’s talk about Tilted Towers. Since the release of chapter 3, many rumors spoke of the return of Tilted Towers, hidden by snow and ice. Today, and as for some time in Fortnite, the snow covering the map during the holidays continued to melt, and released Tilted Towers. The iconic city from Fortnite Chapter 1 is making a comeback! We hadn’t seen him for more than 2 years but theThe players will finally be able to set foot there again! Be careful though, Tilted Towers was already considered back then like the biggest hot drop in the game, meaning many people landed there every game. With his return, this is the case more than ever, since everyone was waiting for him.
The Klombos are also coming to Fortnite! We had leaked it in the past, under the name of Butter Cake, they’re finally here. The Klombos are big passive dinosaurs spawning in specific locations on the Battle Royale map. They are friendly and will not attack you unless you attack them first. It was originally thought that they would be new mounts, well no, but they can still throw you in the air with the geyser present on their head and allow you to redeploy the glider. The Klombos arrive at the same time as the Klombaies, their favorite food. They are scattered all over the map, and if you feed a Klombo with them by throwing one, once consumed, he will give you an item. You can also eat Klombaies to regenerate HP or shield.
The grenade launcher is also making a comeback in Fortnite, but it was adjusted. Grenades now explode after their first bounce, allowing to put more pressure on your opponents, but do 25% less damage. In addition to this, the Crowning emote which displays your number of crowned victories, could not post more than 99 wins. This is now the case.
