Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Exceeded Take-Two’s Expectations

If some games have disappointed in recent months, those published by Take-Two, on the whole, have smiled. This is indeed what the company said, which has just published its financial results for the fiscal year ended in April, but also for the last quarter. We learn that several games have exceeded expectations, allowing to be called successes.

Among these titles, we find, at the top of the bill, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, although no sales figures have been given. WWE 2K22 is also a hit, just like NBA 2K22, as it has already beaten its predecessor’s number of sales, surpassing 10 million. At last, the next-gen version of GTA V is also called a success by Take-Two. Note that during the last quarter of the fiscal year, Red Dead Redemption 2 sold 1 million copies, proving that Rockstar titles are still as popular as ever.

All this allows Take-Two to close a fiscal year with a smile, since the figures exceeded forecasts. Net revenue increased by 4% to $3.51 billion, while net profit was down (by 29%), but lower than expected. For the coming year, the North American publisher expects increased revenue, it remains to be seen whether major productions will help those already released to achieve the objectives, such as a native version of Red Dead Redemption on PS5 and Xbox Series.
