1/ It’s a “made in France” show!
We know it: France inspires the Disney and Pixar studios a lot. Beauty and the Beast, the Aristocats, Ratatouille and the unmistakable Hunchback of Notre-Dame are proof of this… Yes, but. This time, it is indeed to two French designers, Arnaud Feredj and Matthieu Robin, that we owe the idea and the conception of ” Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure “. The President of the Disneyland Paris Park, the Canadian Natacha Rafalski, also underlines that she particularly appreciated the “French touch” that the two directors of the Park put in this new production. Cocorico!
2/ We find our favorite characters from Pixar studios
Toys from Toy Story come back to life for our greatest joy. Woody the cowboy, Buzz Lightyear the space ranger, the shepherdess, Rex the Dino… They now belong to Charlie, an apprentice conductor for the school concert, and must reconstruct his score which was mysteriously scattered. To do this, they will visit the worlds of the clown fish Nemo, of Miguel the young guitarist from Coco, of Russell and Carl, the two heroes of Up there, of Bob Razowski and Sulli the friendly monsters of Monsters and Cie… A festival of characters to delight young and old.
3/ The staging is totally stunning
Innovative lighting, unexpected sequences, incredible creativity: everything has been done to offer the viewer an experience that is both moving and sensory, almost interactive. More than 30 actors, singers and dancers, mobile sets 6.20 m high and 30 m wide, 53 m2 LED screens that go from floor to ceiling on a 650 m2 stage lit by more than 200 projectors: this is the most ambitious project ever created at Disneyland Paris!
4/ The music is played live
It is to Anne Gravoin, famous violinist and executive producer, that we owe the selection of the musicians of the ensemble who will play during each live live show… To perfect a soundtrack that was recorded in Nashville with 54 musicians . Music obviously plays a very big role in the show – since it’s about recomposing a score! – and we are happy to keep the main theme in mind for a long time: “Together, we are one” (“Together, we are one!”)
5/ Omar Sy, Inès Reg and Black M loved it!
Last but not least… During the preview event held this Saturday July 8 at the Walt Disney Studio Park in Disneyland Paris, actor Omar Sy, comedian Inès Reg, singer Black M and the actresses Nora Hamzawi and Anaïs Demoustier validated the experience 100%. Like them, run for it, you won’t regret it!
