Victory parades are actually held on streets. Not so Tom Brady and the Buccaneers: They sailed around Tampa Bay in boats.

Football megastar Tom Brady (43) went on a big victory parade through Tampa Bay with his Buccaneers after their Super Bowl triumph. But not on the road in open buses and vehicles, as is otherwise usual, but on the water: With police protection, Gisele Bündchen's husband (40) and his teammates sailed through the canals and rivers in the city in the US state of Florida.

A number of areas were set up on the bank where thousands of fans – with mouth and nose protection and distance – gathered to catch a glimpse of their idols. Those who can call a boat their own could theoretically even take part in the parade. However, there was a distance requirement of 15 meters.
