Tom & Jerry: New cat and mouse game with first trailer

The iconic cartoon duo "Tom & Jerry" will return to the big screen in a modern version in 2021. Now there is a first trailer.

Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse have stood for the best children's entertainment and enjoy cult status for many decades. With "Tom & Jerry" the duo is expected to return to the cinema in modern form on March 18, 2021. But the film is not just drawn. It's a mixture of animation adventure and normal real-life film. Warner Bros. Pictures has now released a first trailer for the fun.

It's all about this

In "Tom & Jerry" one of the most famous animosities in film and series history is rekindled. Jerry moves into the finest hotel in New York just before a grand wedding is due to take place there. A wedding planner then hires Tom to get rid of Jerry. Ultimately, however, they have to team up to tackle a completely different problem.

In addition to the animated Tom and Jerry characters, the main roles include Chloë Grace Moretz (23, "Carrie"), Michael Peña (44, "Ant-Man") and Ken Jeong (51, "Hangover"). Directed by Tim Story (50, "Barbershop"), the script is by Kevin Costello.
